Golden Glow
Well, today's my one-day weekend, being as it's my turn in the rotation to work the weekend. Decided to use part of it by going downtown to shoot pictures of all the people scurrying about bargain-hunting for items on their Christmas shopping lists. I'm so glad I don't do that, and could spend the time taking pictures instead. I suppose that I picked the wrong spot to hang out and watch for them though, because there really weren't that many of them (probably should have staked out the mall). So, instead of that, here's a picture of the water fountain in front of the Sheraton Hotel on Burrard, caught in the - literally - seconds before the sun disappeared.

That is a fantastic shot. It has a midas touch.
