Contrasts

This morning I went out, not too early, and got some practice on my sports photography skills. Damir was pretending to play soccer (a practice, actually) and I pretended that I knew what I was doing with the camera. Some of the shots were decent, but nothing that I think I'll share here - wait until I'm a little better and the shots are of a real game.

In the meantime, here's another one from yesterday evening. Not quite as appealing to me as the train tracks, but happy with the way it turned out. There was a bit of a breeze out, and the reflection of the sun off the water was creating all sorts of neat flickers on the shoreline which of course don't show in a still photograph. But I like the way that the colours turned out, only slightly enhanced.
