Sunset Saturday
It's been so long since I took any sunset pictures I almost thought I wouldn't remember how... It was a pretty nice sunset on Friday night, and given the weather forecast I figured there was potential for Saturday night too so I headed out with hope. Ultimately there wasn't a lot of cloud for a really pink sunset to develop on, but it was still quite nice.
This one was taken at the end of the session, with the clock ticking on getting out of the park before they locked the gate for the night. The couple up on the observation platform out at Iona Beach were kind enough to move over to the side so that they'd be more in the picture. It would have been better with a wider angle lens, but there really wasn't much time and I didn't want to waste it fiddling with lenses.
I still have some shots that I might post from the Tour de Gastown, but I want to process them with Photoshop. As I'm still learning how to use it, it might be a while however before I have anything suitably processed for posting...
