When you're 3½, you can find solace and comfort in the simplest of things.
For his role in the wedding ceremony my soon-to-be four-year-old nephew carried a brand new stuffed teddy bear wearing a vest that matched both his own and the groom. The wedding rings were tied into the pockets of the bear's vest.
It's my understanding that my nephew gets to keep the new bear as replacement for the one in this picture (taken several months ago). It would not surpise me though, after all they've been through together, to find out that he still prefers this one.
