Maroon Buick
I got sidetracked a little tonight, leaving me a little short of time to decide whether to post one of the shots I'd already prepared, or to work on something new. Then I took another look at the clock and decided it was too late to start something new, but maybe just a little edit...
Shouldn't have started that. The image I was working on may look a bit better (debatable) than the original version, but isn't yet ready to post. And it made the original totally unsuitable, so I had to look through things again.
In the end, this detail shot of an old Buick which lives at the train museum gets the nod. The car has a bit of a history, as it had apparently been built for one use - for the Queen to ride in on one of her visits to BC (can't recall what year the sign said that was), and was supposedly used for only that purpose. Just why/how it ended up at the train museum was a bit of a mystery, but I'm not complaining because some of the most interesting shots I got there were detail shots of this car.
