Blueberries
I think I took all of about 8 pictures this past weekend, and not surprisingly none of them merited posting here. However, I've still got a couple from when I was out at Cultus Lake a month ago that deserve some attention.
An earlier attempt had been made by some of the family to find a blueberry farm, but alas, they went right past it twice without finding it. More to my benefit, as Mom & Dad and I gave it another shot a couple of days later and found it with no problem (having re-checked the directions...). It was quite a hot day under the sun, not a day I'd have wanted to spend all day picking berries, but about 40 minutes was fine and sufficient time to pick several containers of perhaps my favourite fruit.
I managed a couple of shots before we headed back to the car, this being the best. Every time I look at it, it makes me want to reach out and pick them!

This is a brilliant photo, I especially like two aspects of it:
1.You pretty much capture the full evolution of a blueberry, from bud to ripe fruit, all in one frame.
2.You can get a feeling of the intense heat above your heads by looking at the reflection of the sun on the blueberries.
Well done.
I dunno what my favorite fruit is. Of all the melons, i like watermellon the most, or as Krusty the Clown would say, "the money mellon." No wait, thats Honeydew. He likes honeydew.
