Monday's Sunset

What a difference in the sunset tonight, accented as it was with the smoke from the fire in Burns Bog, and my earlier post today of Saturday's sunset. The just-above-the-horizon sun, blazing through the smoke, was an incredible red; while I did get some shots, and one or two were even okay, but they weren't the best of the night. I like this one a lot. It's had absolutely no post-processing, though it's had some (considerable) in-camera processing as it was taken with the "sunset" setting which biases the image to the orange. Yes, this image is somewhat more orange than the sky really was, but only a little. Posted by Picasa

When you first showed me this i almost freaked cause i thought it was so cool how you caught the stars on the top half of the photo, where the sky gets dark. But then I realized how dumb I am, and that the 'stars' were actually bits of dust on the computer screen. Its still a rad photo though
