Growth and Decay (in sunlight)
Today was the first time in over two weeks that I finally felt like I'm making some headway against the cold I've been battling. On the short trek - in the sun - between my office and the place I go for lunch I came across this newly opened mushroom amidst the leaves from a nearby japanese maple and the thriving green grass (this is Vancouver after all) - a great fall shot. Sort of a similar theme to the last pic posted, but less depressing.
