The Decay of Fall
I've taken very few pictures this past week as I've been battling a cold and just haven't had the opportunity to get out and scout. Noticed this plant on my way home from work today, and decided that it made a great image for the stage of fall that we're at in Vancouver right now - still some green, a lot of yellow and brown leaves, and under it all, the decay has started.

I like how you can get a sense of how cold and wet Vancouver autumn can be. You can see the grey skies reflected in the rotting leaves.
Is that the correct way of spelling 'grey'? I've never been sure if its that way, of this way: 'gray'. I think the second way is like a person's name, like Thomas Gray, who wrote that poem "Gray's Elegy", and "Tintern Abby".
Or...was it "Grey's Elegy"?
