Unfamiliar Glow

While eating lunch in my usual establishment I couldn't help but notice that it was much less busy today than it's been for the past couple of weeks. The reason wasn't really a mystery - the sun had actually decided to prove it still existed and came out for most of the afternoon. This was, unfortunately, the only shot I managed to get though, as moments after I took the camera out of the bag the sun slipped behind a cloud and stayed there until about a minute after I had returned to my office. What a nice change from the last couple of weeks though, specially the last two days where it had rained so much - including some slush late yesterday - that I think even the fish were in danger of drowning.

[For all those who don't think slush or snow at this time of year is a big deal, remember - this is Vancouver!]
