Farm Sunrise #2

I think I'm beginning to doubt my right-after-the-shoot post-processing judgement.

This was not one of the pictures that I'd originally expected to post, and, in fact, the first post-processing attempt was rather unsuccessful. But I went back and took another look at it tonight, started from scratch, and managed to get a much better result.

This picture was taken just a few minutes after I got on-site, less than a minute after the sun had fully cleared the horizon. I'm not sure if I like it better than the first post from Saturday's outing, but I certainly am much happier with it than I was on Saturday. Let me know what you think...

There's one more picture from Saturday morning that I might post, which I'll decide tomorrow. It's the first shot of the morning, and like this picture, was produced as a result of more successful re-processing this evening. Posted by Picasa

I like this picture. I like how the lights the field. Sunrise photos always remind me how much I like the mornings. The world is still asleep, so it is quiet and very calming. The red and orange colours really add to this feeling. Yup... mornings are a good time of day. The only thing is, I hate waking up for them. Which is why I like evenings the best - especially if it was a hot day. You get all the nice colours plus the promise that a reprieve from the heat will soon come.

Wonderful photo.

I think I just posted twice. Enjoy the echo effect of me not reading the confirmation notice: "It may take a moment for your comment to appear on the site".
