Poised for Action
This is another shot from my travels on Sunday morning. I had a lot of fun post-processing this shot, and, at least on my monitor, I'm quite happy with the result. This one is much closer to my visualization than I'd thought possible, though it does (obviously) deviate from reality.
You may wonder about the streaky look in the upper right corner... I thought about editing that patch out, but in this case elected to keep leave the foreground clouds as a tip to reality. [Damir: you'll be happy to know that in spite of not performing that particular edit, I am nonetheless getting better at using the cloning tool...]
