In Search of the Great Pumpkin
I went out to the farm market, to pick up some locally grown veggies and fruit and thinking to get a shot of huge boxes of apples. There were huge boxes of apples as there always is at this time of year, but they were totally uninteresting. The box of pumpkins, on the other hand caught my attention immediately.
I'm glad I took this picture - I like it, and it's not another sunset (which I also took pictures of this evening)! While today turned out to be quite nice, there's been a decidedly fall feel in the air the past couple of days and this picture matches that feeling nicely.

Whenever I got to carve a pumpkin, I always got the deformed one and my sister got the nice, round one.
All the pumpkins in this photo are nice and round, so I guess I wouldnt be allowed to carve any of them.
I like how if you let your eyes go out of focus, all the stems look like theyre floating suspened on an orange backdrop. Its also neat how only two colours are seen: beige and orange, which is a neat contrast to a lot of your other pictures.
I havent carved a pumpkin in like ten years. I probably won't carve one again this year, even if its a deformed one
