Green
It's been too long since my last post and it's beginning to drive me crazy so I decided to post this even though I'm not totally happy with it. It has a terrible distortion (look at the lamp post - it should be standing vertically), and it's a little less in focus than I would have preferred. It's also supposed to be a fall shot, but the trees haven't really changed much. I do like the tunnel effect though, and the light in the late afternoon was quite nice.

I like the tunnel effect too. Sometimes when I play hockey, I get nasty tunnel vision, and your photo is kinda how I sometimes feel. Then I moved to Defense and i had to work on building up that peripheral sense of knowing where everyone is on the rink, because the defensemen usually quarterback the play.
There are a lot of streets in Kerrisdale and SW Marine drive that look like this one. Is that where you took this photo? I walk a lot on streets and stuff, and its really tough to notice a street, especially one as pronounced as this one, with no cars on it ever. If you ever see a street like this with no cars on it, you should take a photo of it, even if the lighting is bad and stuff.
This shot was taken standing in the intersection of 45th and Adera Streets (2 blocks west of Granville), facing south.
Nice shot. I think this would look killer in B&W.
3 years later and the trees are still green...I guess the leaves aren't quite ready in early October.
