Curve Geometry
Without some frame of reference it's probably a little hard to guess what this is. It was taken a couple of weeks ago down at my old reliable hangout - Fraser River Park...
Its a part of an old dead tree (the underside of the base, where the root system comes together actually) that's been sitting on the beach there for years, hence the grey weathered colour.
What I like about this image are the textures and shapes; if you spend a little time looking at it like you would clouds you'll start to see all sorts of things...
