Rose Hill Road
Oh hey, imagine that... another fence.
Actually, I think that this is one of my favourite pictures from the Kamloops trip (not including pictures of the BC Summer Games). Somewhere there are some cows on the other side of this fence, but contrary to the idea that cows aren't that smart they were mostly hanging out in the sparse shade afforded by a few small trees out of picture. I was really rather fortunate to get this picture, as there were dump trucks going by every couple of minutes followed by great clouds of dust.
The road curves around to the left and goes just behind the shed at the top of the hill; this shed will feature prominently in another picture to be posted soon.

Just a couple of days after posting this picture, and the one immediately after it, I checked a new student into his room at Thunderbird Residence. During the course of the process we got to talking and I discovered that he'd just arrived from Kamloops. Well, that led to a bit more chatting, so I had to show him and his mother picture. Turns out that they live just the other side of the hill and around the corner from where this was taken - I'd driven past there house several times while I was in the Kamloops area. It truly is a small world.
